The circumstances of the discovery and the recording of the small-toothed wasp in Tachikawa City

In Ikeda (2019), I published a record of the common digger wasp Scolia decorata ventralis Smith, 1873 in Komae City, Tokyo. However, I received a letter from Mr. Hirohisa Suda, which revealed that there is another record of this digger wasp in Tachikawa City on August 13, 1932 (Hirayama, 1933), so I am noting it here. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to three, including the record in Setagaya Ward (Fujimori, 2016). I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Suda for his letter.
